1. Summary
OrfeoTask is an on-device automation app. Most data (profiles, variables, history) stays on your phone. We only send data to external servers if you enable cloud or AI features or if you manually export/import backups.
Usage model: you can create up to 10 automation profiles, no ads, local backup, and 3 included AI generations/day. OrfeoTask Premium (optional one-time purchase via Google Play, e.g. €2.49) adds unlimited profiles, server backup, and 15 AI/day. There are no subscriptions or time-limited lockouts of core automation.

2.2 Android permissions
OrfeoTask may request permissions depending on the automations you configure:

OrfeoTask only accesses this data to run your profiles. It is not used for ads or commercial profiling.

Server backup requires Premium. Local JSON export/import is available without Premium and does not send data to our server unless you upload it.
2.4 Google Play Billing
Purchases are processed by Google Play (product orfeotask_premium, one-time). OrfeoTask receives Premium status for unlimited profiles, cloud backup, and extended AI quota; we do not store card data.
2.5 Android backup
Google/Android backup is optional and may include the database and preferences per system settings.
2.6 Crash diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics)
In release builds, if the app crashes we send technical data to Google Firebase Crashlytics to fix errors:
- Device model and Android version
- OrfeoTask version
- Error stack trace
Does not include profiles, variables, SMS, location, or notification content. Sent only when a crash occurs; contact support for information or deletion requests.
3. Legal basis (GDPR)
- Service performance: automations you configure.
- Consent: sensitive permissions are granted in Android.
- Legitimate interest: stability and support (if you use cloud).
4. Retention
- Local data: until you clear app data or uninstall.
- Local auto-backup: rotated on device.
- Cloud server: while the device is registered; deleted on request.
- Crash reports (Crashlytics): retained by Google per their policy (typically up to 90 days).
5. Third-party sharing
We do not sell personal data. We only share with Google Play (billing), Google Gemini (if you use AI), Google Firebase Crashlytics (release crash diagnostics), and hosting infrastructure.
6. Your rights
Email us at soporte.task@orfeovirtual.com. You can also export profiles (JSON), clear app data in Android Settings, and revoke permissions.
7. Children
OrfeoTask is not directed at children under 13.
8. Security
HTTPS with the server; local backups in the app's private storage. Do not share your cloud recovery code.
9. Changes
We will publish changes at this URL and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
